Tate Gunnerson, the whipsmart mind behind Strange Closets, came by yesterday to shoot an upcoming home tour. There was a vigorous frenzy of decluttering before his arrival, shoving of boots and odds and ends into the hall closet and – wow- bringing the name of his site to life.
We talked people and design as Tate moved through the rooms snapping photos. He mentioned a provocative shoot he recently completed and showed a photo from it (don’t miss it). Tate suggested we include the basement workroom, I declined because it’s a work room, and right now it’s on spring break. I made sure he took some photos of the office, though.
We wrapped it up around 5, then sat on my daughter’s bed and got high. Just kidding, but my daughter Kate, being a whiz at knock-off scents, made plans to develop a signature candle with Tate.
See the dive where I live in an upcoming Home Tour which Tate does each week on Strange Closets.
